Ragdolls have become the fastest growing and most lovable breed
of cat ever developed. Ragdolls are large, semi-longhaired cats with
non-matting bunny soft fur and amazing blue eyes. Ragdolls are slow-maturing, reaching full coat color at two years, and full size
and weight at four. Altered males weigh 15-25 pounds and spayed females average 12-15 pounds.

These cats are loving and affectionate with a very laid back, gentle attitude. The Ragdoll cat has a big heart, loves humans and is very eager to please. The social nature of the Ragdoll makes them the perfect companion for nearly anyone. They are more of a friend than a cat. They are a pleasure to own. They do not meow insistently like some other breeds. They carefully avoid scratching people, are good with children, the elderly and dogs.

Ragdolls make ideal house or apartment companions. They tend to
be floor cats, not jumpers. Because these cats have a docile, trusting nature they tend to be non-aggressive, and sometimes lack the ability to defend themselves. They should be kept strictly as indoor cats only.
